Love is a beautiful thing and to express it creatively is even better. That’s exactly what designer Richa Bhatia did for her wedding almost 4 years ago, etching each milestone of her journey with her husband on her wedding lehenga. Right from her proposal to her beautiful memories with her husband, she had everything she cherished on her lehenga.

If you want to do the same, you’ll have to approach her brand BAYA, and get one made for yourself. The idea is to not look at your wedding attire as a ‘one-time’ wear.

It will, in fact, become a piece of art. A lot of hard work is put into each piece and any special story can be customized for the bride’s special day for e.g.- if bride wants her love story to reflect on the lehenga or her deep connection with her family, parents and siblings which can also be embroidered on the lehenga, her journey till the day she gets married every kali of the lehenga can tell a different story. Richa personally sit with the bride to know and connect with the story so that a beautiful piece of art can be made for her special day.

Groom’s sherwanis are designed keeping in mind about the intricacy of the design and color combination so that both the bride and groom look coordinated with each other and wedding pictures comes out to be beautiful. We also make matching same embroidery sehras for forehead, jootis and pagdi for groom!
